Mikkira Wild Koala Sanctuary is a privately owned property located South of the coastal fishing town of Port Lincoln - near to the tip of Eyre Peninsula in South Australia.

It is home to over 100 wild koalas that live on the low branches in a ancient forest there of their favourite species of eucalyptus tree, the manna gum.

You can visit on a pre arranged guided tour, and in the winter time when the green is green, the owner allows camping in a large open camping area.
